The Knoblander booklet outlining all the costs for weapons, spells and abilities will be out shortly.
WEAPONS: Each individual will be afforded two (2) weapons* allowed to the class/level you choose to play. *A shield in the starting equipment for Knoblander is considered one of your weapons, as is the same with bows.
Daggers do NOT have any cost associated and may be wielded and carried without weapons tags, so long as your class/level is able to use said items.
ARMOR: One (1) set of armor per individual IF allowed by your class (you must actually have physical armor to purchase more). Armor points remain in effect according to class, level, type of armor, etc.
Casters and non-casters alike may purchase additional spells or abilities from logistics up to the playable level. A chart of spells and abilities for purchase is being revamped and will be posted in the next couple weeks.
REINCARNATE, ETC: ANY spell or ability which call into effect a summonable, monster, etc is STRICTLY PROHIBITED at Knoblander. Please remember this when filling out your spell lists or chosing abilities to use/take.
MASS SPELL AFFECTS: NO Mass Spells or Effect will be allowed at Knoblander.
If you are looted of your armor (tag), weapon (tag) etc....you may purchase replacements from logistics to continue on or buff yourself back up. You do NOT have to be looted to do this, you can make additional equipment/spell/ability purchases any time logistics is open.
Please post any questions!

Edited 12/23/06 to remove the 'reanimate' that Gameface pointed out.

...reanimate is not a monster summoning spell. it is the one that can bring a dead person back to life and severs them. lasts 300 count or until they would have normaly come alive.

I don't know why I stated reanimate in the first post on this thread...because it's not one of the non-purchasable spells/abilities. For a comprehensive listing, please review (or download and print) the FILES SECTION/KNOBLANDER IX (FOLDER)/KNOBLANDER EQUIPMENT, SPELLS AND ABILITIES COSTS BOOKLET which is uploaded to the following yahoogroups: .....Blackspire, .....Stormhaven, .....Northern Lights, .....Shrouding Mist .....Dark Harbor and .....Angels Haven. If you are not on any of those lists, send me a PM via this forum with your email address and I can forward the file to you (please specify .pdf or .doc format). Sorry about that! SAMantha

A question posed to me in IM
Response: Yep. You get what you'd normally get per the rulebook for your class/level. And can purchase additional with in-game gold.
Additionally, each participant in Knoblander is only allowed two (2) 'weapons'. For this purpose ONLY, a board is considered one of the items - so sword/board is a '2 weapon combo', two shorts, long/short, etc.
Also, Armor can be 'purchased' - this is one of those that ONLY if you have physical armor - you can purchase an 'additional' set if it gets looted from you

Ya... that 2 weapon rule is not going to work for me. I think ill start with 5 weapons and a titan. Gameface gets to start with whatever he wants too.

Shine, You, or whomever else for that matter, may start with anything you like....so long as you've 'purchased' those additional items through logistics and are able to carry them per the class you've registered to play. That's what I'll say SAM

What about skills that are per game..can i buy more of thoes if i run out? moonshine. I'm taking the easier questions first: 6th level A/P (or any level / class for that matter). You start the game just like any other normal battle game....picking/choosing which abilities, equipment, armor, etc you're gonna use (within the confines of the weapons rule for Knoblander - 2 weapon combo) and those things you get REGARDLESS and do not have to pay for. The 'buying' comes in IF or WHEN you feel like 'buffing' yourself up and getting MORE than you normally would be allowed OR, somebody kills your ass and loots you of your weapon or armor, etc. If you have gold (or can get a buddy that has gold) - buy you another weapon/set of armor, etc. - or buy more per games/per lives. Your choice! *NOTE: Sets of armor cannot be purchased unless you physically HAVE armor. No coming in saying you want to buy armor, but don't have physical armor. As for starting gold.......you, Moonshine personally, being a Grand Duke (is that right?).....are likely to start with (shit, where's my cheat sheet) ..... fourteen (14) gold. Starting gold is dependant upon TITLES given within Amtgard. ONLY your highest title is used, you cannot stack various titles to get more gold.
